So what do you guys think of Pink Floyd, so far it's my favorable band right now and i really like the wall album, and am desperately trying to get my hands on the movie.

Sigh, its only part one because i could not obtain the full video. What do you guys think? Discuss. Any other rock bands?

Pink Floyd. I like Meddle. Echoes is pretty great.

Pink Floyd is also great. I especially like their album "Dark Side of the Moon". There are plenty of other great bands out there. 70's rock is pretty awesome, like Edgar Winter:

I love Pink Flyod! I have the movie, The Wall CD's, The Wall poster, and I got to see The Wall 2010 tour! Whats really funny is the fact that I saw this thread while wearing the shirt I got at the concert.

To the OP: Can you clarify? Is this about classic rock? That's how I'm reading it.

I love Kansas. Everyone knows their classic hits Carry on Wayward Son and Dust in the Wind, both fantastic songs, but all of the material from their first six albums was exceptional.

These are meaningful songs, often with positive messages. Kansas is basically the pinnacle of classic rock for me. They never felt the need to sing about sex and drugs--instead, they sang about history, spirituality, and the struggles of daily life. As you may be able to tell, Masque is my favorite of their albums.

I also love The Moody Blues.
