Beck's heart broke at the thought of this child being on the streets when all she needed was love and direction, but then Sayaad arrived to their hidden spot
" Hey, Sad. how are you"

 

[Pen]

"I'm okay," Sayaad replied, panting heavily. "Just need to catch my breath... Did you cause the downpour?"

 

[Storm]

Beck looks up
"Oh yeah"
Beck snaps and the rain slows then stops

 

[Pen]

"Thank you," Sayaad said as he whipped his wet hair out of his face. "It was a good distraction. Anything to avoid further violence. I'm glad we're on the same page."

 

[MightyMario]

In a mix of tears and rain, Siy sneezed and leapt from Beck’s arms. She sneezed again and groaned sadly.

 

[Storm]

Beck comments in an Oinistani accent
"Momma will do anything for her special boy. Now lead the way"

Siy walked forward a little bit, sneezed once more, and promptly fell over into the brown mud, dirtying her white dress.

 

[Pen]

Sayaad was quick to pick her up. He gently lifted her up in his arms. She was very light, and she seemed warm, which made Sayaad suspect she had a fever.

"We need to get her someplace warm and dry," he said to the others with a mildly desperate tone. "Quick! Let's move toward the mountains to see if we can find a cave and make a fire." He began walking at a swift pace off the road to the south-east.

As Siy was being carried, she coughed harshly and felt dizzy. She groaned from the massive headache and felt like she was gonna hurl at any moment.

 

[Storm]

Beck follows Sayaad into the Cave, shivering from the cold and the wet

The conditions of the cave intensified Siy’s sickness, as once she was set down, she got right back up and trudged away as quickly as she could from the group, before...

“BLECCCCH!”

 

[Storm]

Beck sparks some kindling, causing a campfire. she hangs her clothes to dry
"Wet three times in the same day...ugh"

Siy walked over to the campfire, letting everyone revel in her disheveled appearance.

 

[Storm]

Beck was not one to revel, as she warmed up by the Fire

“Mama...” she said to an unsuspecting Beck.
