Ocarina of Time Ocarina of Time N64 Cover?

Is it just me, or does it look a little too.. bland? The gold is kind of unflattering..

Back then, the gold was amazing. There was no need for all of these colorful boxarts back in the day; gold was all that meant anything. Heck, gold is what is on limited edition boxarts to this day!

I guess it was kind of blah. But you have to remember this was back in 1999. All it had was the title with a gold background, but that's pretty much all you could find on boxes back in those days. Ocarina of Time has improoved their box arts though with The GCN Master Quest and Ocarina of Time 3D

Yeah, the cover art is quite bland, but I kinda liked the simplicity. Also, just the fact that it says Zelda on it is eye-catching enough.

We must remember when this game came out. The gold cartridge was of the few colored Nintendo 64 games. The art on the front looks great also. The cover more then suffices for even today's games.

I must admit that the N64 cover was plain, but good. It's amazing that they brought it back to the 3DS cover, but with some excitement to it. But they were all great.
