Hey there everyone! I've blogged this a few times, but I kinda just wanted a...well, a thread where I could dump some music for those who are interested.

For those who are not already aware, one of my favorite things to do ever is make music. Whether it be acoustic music or electronic music, I have a deep burning passion for the making of sweet sweet melodies (I plan on taking a career in Audio Engeneering, whether it be making music or sound effects for video games, movies, tv shows, etc, its what I wanna do!). Some of it can be chaotic and unstructured, other songs are more tame and rhythmic. And I love feedback! If anyone wants to tell me what they think of it, I absolutely love to know what I am doing right, what I am doing wrong, and what people would like to see. As long as its...y'know...actual constructive criticism :P

So...yeah, I'll just post this one for now:

This is probably one of my favorites I have made so far. ^^

Wow NM, this is really great! I must this is quite catchy to listen to! You have a lot of great potential NM! I can't wait to hear more awesome music from you in the upcoming future! ^~^ Although I do have just one question for you: Is it possible for you to make covers of music (such as Pokemon battles, Zelda theme songs, etc) with this kind of style? It would really be great if you could make awesome covers from beloved video game franchises! \(^~^)/

Its actually quite difficult to do covers, at least for me lol. I can play quite a few Zelda OoT themes on guitar, so I may make a medley of them later, but for the most part I just make whatever comes to my head. Thanks for the compliments Fig, I appreciate it! :D

This is actually an old one I made, using Audacity, but I wanted to put it up on YouTube. Its the Lost Woods theme from OoT if you play it backwards and add some nice spooky echo ^^

Let's see how long they take to take this one down

And yes, that weird staticy sound is on purpose. Kind of a vintage feel, y'know? :right:

Wow, these are some impressive tunes! Your style reminds me of musicians who compose for indie games (one such game being Tetrobot and Co.), and I could easily see you using this gift for the independent market.

Keep up the good work. ^^

Wow, awesome of you to say Thar, that's exactly the kind of work I wanna get into! :D Hopefully having songs like these in my portfolio before I even start school will help along the way. Who knows? Thanks again ^^

Are these done entirely with a computer or do you use a keyboard/synthesizer as well?

I don't have a MIDI keyboard atm, I'm still saving up to get one. For now these are all made using a computer keyboard.

Another very strange ambient piece of mine, and the longest song I have made so far:

My newest acoustic song I recorded today. One out of about a two hour long session, this one was my favorite out of the session. ^^
