Movies That "should" Be Awful but You Liked Anyway

Basically any film that sounds just horrible if you ever heard someone describe it, or read a quick synopsis about it. But for some reason it's actually good even though all your instincts are telling you this is terrible. What movies do you still love despite the fact that you keep reminding yourself that you should hate it?

My first choice for this would be Zoolander. I love that movie, but really absolutely everything that describes it in any way whatsoever makes it out to be something I would never even want to watch in the first place. Just Ben Stiller...is a supermodel...that must stop an evil plot...involving models...everything about it screams "Oh god no.." but it works. And I have no idea why.

Ah i love horror movies that follow the book it is made from So nice then ^^ But i hate it when they just throw in random weirdness it adds to it but UGGGGGGGGH

didn't build that

I love this movie, and not ironically. I genuinely think it's hilarious and it achieves what it sets out to. The casting is the main reason for its success--it has Sinbad, Phil Hartman, Anakin Skywalker, and Schwarzenegger. It's just so outlandish, and what could have been fairly conventional turned into something insane. It's one of my must-watch Christmas movies.

That said, I can understand why people hate it. As someone who grew up on Power Rangers and put my parents through Hell on some Christmases, I feel like I'm part of its target audience.

Big Trouble in Little China.

It may simultaneously be the best and worst movie ever created.

I know everyone keeps telling me this movie is bad, but I just love it. It's hilarious, has plenty of heart, and yeah it's not even bothering to pretend to be realistic, because practically nothing that happens in it could happen in real life, but I still love it.

United States
Quest for Camelot. It's a Disney rip-off made by Warner Bros., but I can't help liking it despite the fact it's a bad movie. The soundtrack for the movie is probably the only good thing to come out of it, but I really don't think it's awful.
