Most difficult final Zelda boss?

Definitely Head Thwomp. He was the boss of the Wing Dungeon in OoA, and he is STUPIDLY DIFICULT. The entire battle is centered around timing, making it totally random whether you get in the shot. He made me stop playing for like 7 months.

Oh oops, I didn't notice the "final" part. In that case, probably Calamity Ganon in BotW, simply because I suck at blocking and parrying.

Hardest boss for me would be Ganon from Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past. I've also never beat him and I gave up.

Demise from Skyward Sword up there so is Onox from OoS and Dark Link in Zelda II (Thunderbird from Zelda II also but I dont know if it would count.) as some of the hardest final Zelda bosses. Also Malladus in ST and Vatti in The Minish Cap.

It honestly depends on how many times you’ve played the game.

my first time playing I struggled quite a bit with WW Ganondorf, Demise, LttP Ganon, Dark Link, MC Vatti, and Bellumbeck.

Nowadays I can pretty reliably kill nearly each of those bosses. The only one I struggle with is Dark Link, and even then that’s just when I’m using the intended strat.

I've seen demise listed a couple times now. What makes him so hard to you guys?
The first thing is just that he does a lot of damage, iirc. Besides that, his attack patterns can be a bit tricky if you're not used to them: the counterattack he does after hitting his sword a few times, the two swings in a row, etc, can result in you getting hit a lot if you're not careful. In the second phase especially, I didn't really get how to call the lightning quickly and kept getting hit before I could.

The fight can be incredibly easy if you actually know what you're doing, of course. But it gave me some trouble the first couple of times until I got it down.
