Yamazaki listened to Tazuna give his opinion with gratitude. He stumbled a bit, but Yamazaki was glad he didn't let the fact that he was probably uncomfortable get in the way of sharing his opinion to help the class put on the best play they could.

"Thank you, Kato-san," Yamazaki used the opportunity to try to establish some level of control over of the situation. He gestures to Aiko, trying to draw attention back away from his classmate, "You heard him. You have the floor, Hironaka-san."

Mori recognized that her newfound friend (or at least as close as she had) needed help getting eyes off him, and she was next to him, so she decided to go next. And the answer seemed obvious to her.
"I'm personally fond of Moliere's "The Imaginary Invalid", which has elements of comedy whike also carrying a strong emotional core about family. It's also long out of the public domain, so we'd have no issues finding the script or dealing with royalties. It would take some updating for a modern audience, but it sounds like it could fit both of your criteria."
She looked around at the faces of her classmates, going from glazed over to impressed to... almost frightebed.
She simply shrugged in response, "What did you expect me to say, Hello Kitty?"

Kaya sat near the back, glaring and frowning at Tazuna and Mori. Why was she talking to him? Did she like him? And did he like her back? Was her love being stolen from her?? She almost screamed when he gave her that nervous look.

After Morie was done speaking, Kaya's blood began to boil. A lot of people seemed impressed by her idea. Kaya only hoped that her precious Tazuna didn't feel the same. She shot up, eager to give her own idea.

"No matter what play we pick, it's obvious that we're gonna need a lead with star power!" she announced. "Tazuna Kato is our golden ticket to making this show a success!"

Oddly enough Akuma was thinking hard on what might be suitable. she grabs her Whiteboard and expo marker and stops about halfway. there is no way She was going to tell the Princess or Tamaki about her idea, nor did she want to hear any of them say it out loud. she walks back to her seat and writes down her idea for a rendition of The Watchers of the Gates by Jordan Beleren and shows Yoshiko.

Aiko's idea was working out it seemed. A strategic plan to get the quiet people talking by asking another quiet one to give an answer. And nobody was trying to talk over each other. "Take that, Yamazaki!" was the first thought to immediately pop into her head as she noticed even Akuma was writing down something.

The ideas that people had given so far were pretty good, even if one was the opposite of what they were trying to do. Aiko liked the though of a tragedy, and Mori's idea of a comedy based in a tragedy wasn't bad either. "Whatever we do, Yama-san" Aiko retorted sarcastically, "It needs to be an original written by the class. I think Mori and Tazuna make good arguments for comedy and tragedy. But even if we figure that out we need to figure out the genre, decide if it's a musical or not... we have a lot of work to do."

Yamazaki was surprised to hear Moliere's name suggested by the young-looking girl sitting near Tazuna. He had never heard of the specific play she was talking about, but he knew just enough about theater to at least recognize that he was a significant European playwright—but not one so culturally relevant that a Japanese high schooler would be likely to be familiar with his works, especially not one so young-looking.

He felt almost guilty for celebrating internally as Kaya tried to take things off track by bringing up casting before they'd even settled on a genre for the play, "Take that, Hironaka!" uncharacteristically echoed through his head.

Aiko's sarcastic use of a nickname wasn't lost on Yamazaki, but he refused to react to it, instead making an effort to undermine what she'd just said. "Does it really need to be entirely original, though? I don't see why we can't take an existing work and put our own spin on it, like twintails-san suggested."

He'd made an effort to memorize the surnames of most of his classmates on the first day, but he was somewhat embarrassed to realize that Morie's wasn't one of them.

Yoshiko's gaze wandered from classmate to classmate as each person spoke up about what they thought the play should be. When Kaya voiced her opinion Yoshiko became a little bit confused though. She understood the girl was referring to the boy with the sunglasses who had been the first of the students to be asked for ideas for the play. But Yoshiko didn't understand why Kaya thought Tazuna Kato was so likely to make the play a success. She hadn't even seen the two of them interact with one another at all today. The truth was that Yoshiko is awful at keeping up with news and pop culture in general, so she had no idea that Tazuna was known to most of the people at the school. She also had never heard of the ever so rich and influential Hironaka family, so Aiko's last name didn't exactly mean all that much to her either. Yoshiko let her gaze go over all of the students as the discussion went on. She didn't know any of these people, and she had only really interacted with two of them, but it was quite brief. In her very unbiased eyes and in her mind that was very poorly up to date with new and pop culture, all of the students she was looking at were the same. She hadn't even found Yamazaki to be particularly intimidating. When she had seen him in the home classroom earlier it seemed like the teacher, Mr. Matsumoto, was terrified of the boy, but in Yoshiko's mind he seemed like a solid dude with nothing but good intentions. As she was getting lost in her thoughts she noticed that Akuma next to her wanted her attention again. Yoshiko appreciated that the girl didn't get her attention by scaring her this time, but she didn't recognise the title of the play that Akuma had written down.

"Sorry but I don't think I know what kind of play that is..." she whispers to Akuma. "Is it from the same franchise as the book that's been keeping you busy all day?" Yoshiko then asks kind of half jokingly.

Upon hearing the girl's suggestion, Mori glanced at Tazuna. She hasn't seen him act before, and he didn't seem too enthused about the idea, but be was nice. So he would probably do fine.

Tazuna found himself equally impressed by Mori's suggestion, much akin to Yamazaki. His thoughts however stall after Kaya's interjection on casting. His body suddenly froze, cool to the touch, which did not mesh well with his already clammy skin. This was far from what he wanted. Very slowly, he turns his head back to see who spoke before darting his gaze back to the front of the auditorium. He...he had seen that girl before, but he could not put his finger on who she was. Perhaps his nerves had now stared to get to him. No matter the case, he had an elephant in the room to address: that casting issue. Taking in a nervous, yet somehow laid back breath, he starts his mild retort.

"While I am flattered by the nomination, would it not be best for auditions to be open in nature?" He finishes with a light grin to ease off his own discomfort.

Akuma puts her head down and nods. it was one of the first books in the series. where we first meet Rasul and the budding romance between Rengo and Vespyr was something of legend that wouldnt really be explored again, but the latest Book in the series, The Whispers of the Dead by Storm Hudson should shed a little bit more light on their relationship with one Another. Akuma felt that Rengo deserved to be happy at least once in his life.

Akuma pulled the Book out of her bag and gives it to Yoshiko to borrow if she so chooses. maybe then She can get Akuma's Gist. Akuma also hearing Tamaki and Hironaka fighting fought the urge to just shut the curtain around them.

Things were getting a bit off track, "Before we even talk about casting, we should probably settle on a play and decide who should write or modify the script. After that, someone who won't be appearing in the play should be chosen as the director and should decide casting with a brief audition process."

Yamazaki paused, turning to Aiko, "Unless anybody finds that objectionable."

Yoshiko thanks Akuma with a friendly nod and a smile as she retrieves the book. She had actually read some of the manga adaptations of the Rasuliverse, thought that wasn't something she would likely admit. This particular story she had never read before though, so she thought it would be interesting. Perhaps a Rasuliverse fan-fiction or something would be appropriate for the stage play, she think to herself.

Akuma would voice her Opinion if she could without looking like she was just going on stage just to go on stage. in truth these two are louder than first perceived. Akuma thinks there will be a war, and she will have to choose a side eventually, but the shiniest of two turds is still ****

Yamazaki had noticed Yoshiko and Akuma exchanging books, notes, and comments with one another out of the corner of his eye for a while now. He doubted that they'd be the type to goof around with each other in the middle of a meeting, given how reserved they seemed, so he assumed that they were discussing the play in some way. Some people are better suited to working in small groups—perhaps they'd come up with an idea but were afraid of pitching it to the entire class. In that case, he'd need to find a way to ask them about their idea without drawing the class's attention.

He turned to Aiko, "I need a few minutes to collect my thoughts, Hironaka-san. Please keep things running in the meantime."

It felt almost like admitting defeat to give Aiko uncontested control of the meeting—even for a short period, but this was more important than that. They needed all the ideas they could get.

Yamazaki sat down in the seat in the front row to the side of Yoshiko opposite Akuma, a terrifying aura surrounding him. He waited for a few seconds before turning to her and quietly asking, "I noticed you and Neko-san were exchanging notes. Did the two of you come up with some sort of idea for the play, Akamatsu-san?"
