So Monster Hunter Stories is getting a western release slated for Fall.

I'm thinking about picking it up. I do NOT like turn based, but it IS Monster Hunter... It's not like I hate ALL turn based gameplay. Maybe I can stomach this like I can stomach Pokemon.

Gonna bump this topic since the game is out now.

I'm enjoying it very much so far. It seems to be a charming adventure with some dark undertones. The rock-paper-scissors gameplay is a first for me, and I don't particularly dislike it. I'm enjoying the exploration and dungeon crawling aspects a lot. It's shaping up to be a great spin off. I've already got myself a blue yian kut-ku and a red khezu.
