There are but i'll be honest the whole game revolves around that melee countering skill. Even with the best upgrades you're still gonna take damage. I'd actually say that getting ALL the energy tanks and Aeion Tanks are a Must.

Good to know. I am pretty good at the melee countering skill, but I still get caught off guard occasionally.

I know that issue, amount of times i've lost half a tank to a red hornoad because i forgot melee counter.

Wave beam has to be one of the most useful things ever trust me with an Aeion skill you get later you can kill so many things in your path without ever seeing them

It's damn handy you can destroy sentinel foes those things are irritating. Magma areas are so damn good

They still blow up on me half the time. They are very tough!

I think they look really cool, and are a nice challenge, at least for me.
