Manuals Yay or Nay

I always read manuals, just in case. It's always better to read the manuals.

The manuals are for the car ride home/waiting for a turn with the TV...

I don't really look at manuals unless what I just bought starts to emit a big, billowing cloud of black smoke, sparks, and electrocutes me. Then I might read the manual but, my first reaction tends to be a good ol' Google search these days. I don't find much new technology particularly confusing, just dive in and see what's what.

I read them a little, get bored, work out how to do things for myself, then lose them. In the end I never know how to fully use the product...

I barely ever use manuals. I only use manuals for very complex things, but I like to keep it to a minimum.

Unless a recipe book counts as a manual...
