1. The true meaning of Majora's Mask... that's a tough one... I'll leave an excerpt from the link below which I hope explains it in a nutshell... "Where OOT is about time's flow, MM is about letting go." Not only that, I've never seen so much occult themes packed into one game. The theories of the past in regards to Majoras Mask have been confirmed with Twilight Princess and the Hyrule Historia. Link is the heros shade, who is a stalfos. Theres also one more thing I'd like to point out about this topic, there was a BIG change to the starting of Majoras Mask when it came out on the 3DS that I've heard no one talking about... Atleast at this depth. It has to do with the Amanita Muscaria mushroom... better known as the super mushroom to Mario fans. I'll leave this additional footage here to provoke more discussion in this thread... Theres only so much that can be ddone with written word. Check this out and tell me its not on point.

2. Ever notice how Majora's Mask is a purple heart? A purple heart is a military award given to those who have been wounded. A purple heart is a well known symbol for being hurt even outside of the US military. It's funny how in the opening of MM we see the Skull Kid wearing a purple heart right on his face. If you could read symbolism you could have foreseen the Skull Kid's entire backstory right at the beginning of the game.... He was wounded, and was acting out (then finds the mask, etc.)

3. Skull kid can be seen in promotional art posed just like baphomet.... You may or may not know what that is. lol. But yes, there is subliminal symbolism inside majoras mask. This game dabbles in everything.

* This is just one heck of a game...... Aliens, ghosts, shamanism, time travel, the apocalypse, dark magicians, black ritual items, devil worship, that's all I can name off the top of my head but theres much more packed into majoras mask. the main story of the game is what is most intriguing though. I am also ironing out some things about west clock town, its entrance/exit, the sun and the sea.... You wouldn't believe the occult symbolism used, pick up a symbol encyclopedia and play majoras mask, you wont even look at the world the same again.
I'd like this topic to be about the broad spectrum of MM symbolism and its overall story, Ill keep yall up to date with my research into the game here, id love to get a lively discussion going.
BTW, for those who didn't know, using timelapse photography I found out in mm3d the moon doesn't start to fall until the 3rd day. Ill be creating ones in the coming weeks for mm n64, yes I am totally mental for this game.
