For me being a deaf person mail watching involves actually watching the door... the delivery im currently waiting on are medication but they dont like say well be posting between 10-11 for example... do you like a vlearly defined time or nust hang about all day for the post??

I have a big black box out the front of my house for people to leave packages as I am almost never in to receive them

I just know roughly what time the mail comes, and check after that

I get an email alert from USPS about what's being delivered that day, so I kinda know what's being delivered.

Yea same here for the other stuff but not the meds and other family stuff...

It is pretty difficult to know when things are going to turn up but since there is nearly always someone home here it doesn't really cause any problems for us. In most situations we are happy for packages to be left here too since we don't tend to order expensive things online anyway.

Just curious but have you ever considered getting a buzzer for deaf people? it basically also lights up a few lights in the house

I keep trying and parents are like nooo...and people mostly knock anyway...

Most of the time we're at home or the neighbors catch it for me.
