Relying on night actions to win the game is only going to lead to a town loss.
We gave up 2 full IRL days because "OMG, RVS confuses me, I'm just going to lay down and hope Day 2 is better".

I believe ALiT said that the half majority rule is for day one.
Same difference.

Flavor text always gives you legitimate evidence. Always. The idea is that anyone could be anything - unless duly noted by a cop or something. I could be playing mafia in the day, be town doc at night. Yes, it's important to use all faculties to get your evidence...but think about it. The BEST evidence you can get from day lulz is someone hammering a bandwagon in. And even then, it's hit or miss. The real day evidence comes from when everyone is fully serious.

No its not. Day 1 lynches can be important to see how mafia or certain players vote. Once you have confirmed mafia, you can look back at vote tallies. Day 1 vote tallies are especially important because mafia tend to be a bit more lax since everyone is goofing around.
But no, lets follow your plan. Lets wait out the night, give the mafia a free kill, and hope the vig or cop claims once they figure something out in the night. That plan always works...

Viral name one person who you think would have been able to get 5 votes on in 2 days. I dont see any one who would get enough votes on them due to friend ships and such there is no evidence against them yet.

I see a ton of people who just voted a no lynch, and I'm suspicious of each and everyone of them...

One lynch is one lynch. So we voted no lynch on lulz day. Boohoo. We'll let the night actions play out from there and get stuff a-rollin'.

I'd like to reference a game I was in a few months ago. In FMA mafia, the first day was fairly long, granted it was set up that way, but it was still a day. In that time I both identified and lynched a mafia, barely surviving myself, but managing to live through the day with one less vote than the mafia. In addition we also identified accurately 80% of the mafia players. This was on "lulz day". Sorry, but no lynching has just removed two days from our day one, something that we could have used to at least identify or even lynch scum. Random voting does lead to identifying mafia.

So on my list of possible scum, while very small, consists of these people

Atticus
Heroine

That's for now but I wonder what each of you have to say for your actions of trying to push no lynch.

I'd like to reference another game, Marching Band mfia. I think the first 2 days ended in a no lynch and Town won that game.

I just thought it was safer than lynching someone. We had 2 days left and nothing happened over those 2 day. I'm hoping the night scene will give of something. It was risky, but not as risky as accidentally lynching a Town power role.

Also, I didn't even mean to hammer a no lynch. I guess that's my fault for not paying attention to the vote count.

So the high possibility of lynching a Townie on day one is better at this moment? @Viral

Yes. Most definitely. Check any of my games, this is just the way I feel about. You got to break a few eggs to make an omelet.

There were 2 modkills before the end too, so it evened out. And trust me, if Thar was still in game, I'd be hella confused. It was only sans Draco and Thar, with the inclusion of Xyphon and me actually reading the thread that we won.
But it is also a different situation. IIRC those days ended with no lynch. Town didn't vote no lynch early.

I never said I didn't want a no lynch. I just didn't want to hammer it.

That is interesting. Why are you apprehensive to hammer?

In the end, I feel like this is the best decision, I'm not an experienced player or anything, but the three games I have been in have led to a first day misslynch.

Now, I always see the first day as random let's spam or mess around day, usually one will either be lynched as a result of a unsupported bandwagon or a majority lynch, which may only be 2 or 3 votes based on inconclusive evidence. One player may not seem like much, but it's too big of a risk, I said earlier I'd like a lynch but that was mainly to enter the night phase -- skipping to the night phase, will allow things to shape. The players can use their night abilities and maybe we'll get a better idea on day 2.

^ Just my opinion.

This this and so much more this.

What? I'm scum for suggesting a no-lynch? Wow, I lol'd. I like how everyone see's this as a major setback, when it's really a step in the right direction. Everyone who voted for a no-lynch is a suspect. Scum love no-lynches, it's just common sense that they would. What better way to lure scum out than suggest something that's going to give them an advantage? It seems to have worked, as we've reached a majority (at least I think we have). We'll see how the night goes, but everyone who voted for a no-lynch should be considered potential scum.

I'm thinking MadameMajora as a definite target. But I kind of agree with Viral on TSter, but then again TSter's a total n00b (sorry, but you are). It's still not an excuse to be all over the place without proper reasoning.
