Loftwing Amiibo Uses Outside of SSHD

We already know that with SSHD,

Spoiler: Loftwing amiibo + SSHD

that you can fast travel to Skyloft and back, even in dungeons

I'm wondering if anyone had made an attempt at seeing what, if anything, it does in other games? If it does do anything in other games what does it do?
