I don´t know but for some reason I´ve always believed they are expected to become older then us humans. Interesting question. I wonder how old Sahasrahla was in ALttP? I would guess 200 at least ;)

They are the favored children of the Goddesses, since they were "blessed" with those ears so they can hear the goddesses.
I am guessing that they must live a bit longer than a normal human.

Sarashala has never stated his age but my guess is that he should be at least 98.

Also let me give an example of a Hylian who might have lived longer than a normal human.
Princess Zelda from Aol is stated often to be the first Zelda in existence because of how she originated the name. Unless that maigcal sleep was an age preventer, she must have lived very long.

I would probably say that they are humans and they probably live to around 100 yrs. I dont think they have magical powers that would make them live longer. So they are probably just like humans in terms of living.

Well, Hylians are the same as humans as we know, so what do you think the answer is? Well I will say it if you still haven't figured it out yet, the average lifespan of a Hylian is about 80-100 years. Added about 20 years because they do live in a magical place so I believe that they could probably live a bit longer.

i would agree that they age like humans do. in OoT he goes from 12-13 year old to 16-17 year old in seven years like a normal human would. it seems to me they age just like us.

That doesn't tell us how long they do live however. Don't elves age like that? They have adult figures at the normal human limit and then stay that way to their end. However it seems that Hylians do suffer the affects of old age.

Another thing to consider it Twinrova, either they have a trade secret I think they make a boundary to how far a Hylian can age.

Koume and Kotake are definitely thought of as being Gerudo. when they turn into Twinrova they look just like a Gerudo. they have very powerful magic and seem to be the only Gerudo (besides Ganondorf) who have magic. when they die in OoT they mention being between 600 and 700 years old. i highly doubt thats how old Hylians age. also there is no way that they are live elves and age to a certain age then stay that way til death. we have seen plenty of old hylians and teenaged hylians and young hylians. in WW, the fathers of the two kidnapped girls look like they are just the right age to be the fathers for the age the girls look. my money is on that they age just like we do and by that i mean they probably die around our average death age as well.

I guess maybe 80 years? We've defenitely seen hylians in the game around that age such as the super old lady in the inn in majora's mask. And they do seem to have decent medicine (maybe better than our current medicinal prowess.

No. Anju's Grandmother in MM is not an Hylian, she's a Terminian. But there is Granny in OOT who looks like her. (the old witch in the other potion shop) And we don't know her age exactly.

As for me, I think Hylians would probably live a 100 years or so. But we don't have any prooves about it, so we simply don't know. :)

hmmm i have no clue... (... = unfinished thought) (hmmmm = thinking) however if hylians lived 200 years link would meet elzo 3 times (like the first time you met him in mc) and i think hylians are = to humans... but hylians are more exp. with magic

Not true, only children can see the Minish/ Picori. 100 years on Link will not still be a child.

I don't know, I think maybe 150 years. They live in a magical place and I think that that probably prolonges their lives and preserves their bodies for longer (IE it takes them alot longer to become the frail old people we sometimes see in the potion shop for example.)

Just because they live in a magical world does not mean they are magical. The only characters in the game that seem to live for extended periods of time are the ones that can actually control magic. Other than that we always see instances of characters that look like adults and have young children (just like we would in the real world).

Zora King looks older. He has a young daughter (Ruto).

King of Hyrule looks older. He has a young daughter (Zelda).

In TP, an older Goron has a baby Goron child.

There are plenty of Hylian children running around.

My point is, that I think we are just meant to believe that everyone ages the same as us unless we are told otherwise (like with Koume and Kotake).
