Here's a game!
You need to come up with six things.
You need to add three of them them to your least favorite Zelda game to make it your favorite.

And three of them you add to your favorite game to make it your least favorite.

What things do you add?

I'll go first.

Favorite: Breath of the Wild.
I add:
1. Fi, but she has five mouths.
2. Replace all weapons with Boko Clubs that breaks the moment you put them in your inventory.
3. Blinx: The Time Sweeper artstyle.

All of a sudden I have a game that looks crap, with enemies impossible to progress in, and where I get interrupted every 5 seconds.

Terrible.

Least favorite: Spirit Tracks.

I add:
1. Fully explorable overworld that's gorgeous as heck.
2. Replace all dungeons with the best dungeons from TP, SS and OoT.
3. Have Zelda be fully playable.
Voila! Top-tier Zelda!

Your turn :)

Skyward sword:
1) motion control was annoying during Moldarach battle
2)Zelda was ugly
3)Visited the three realms over and over and over and over....
The LoZ,Zelda II
1) pioneer
2) comparatively larger world
3)"I'm an error" :P

Twilight Princess:
Link turns into some other animal instead of a wolf.
Link x Midna is canon.
The NPCs are actually as ugly as people say.

Ocarina of Time:
Combat is smoother.
The sages do more besides give you a useless medallion.
The story is more in depth than "Awaken the Sages because that's totally gonna let you beat Ganon".

BotW:
1. The world is just a big empty pit with Ganon in the middle shooting lasers.
2. The "overworld theme" is a child screaming on loop.
3. When you die, you go back to the North Palace.

TFH:
1. The Drablands is a fully explorable 2D overworld.
2. Lady Maud is the keeper of the Tetraforce.
3. The Tri Force Heroes are Link, Zelda, and Ganondorf.

NGL I would prefer this to the current "almost nothing"

since Adventure of Link isn't a game that can be salvaged without making it a new game, I guess I'll do my second least favorite, breath of the wild

1. instead of flashback cutscenes, story sequences involve you traveling back in time, where the champions are NPCs that join your party (same with zelda during those quests!). The flashbacks only appear in sequential order.
2. when certain bosses in the past are defeated, the future is updated to be more alive and full of civilizations, not a few barren outposts here or there, with the music becoming more dynamic as well.
3. the dungeons and shiekah slate are both reworked to be more in line with traditional zelda items and dungeons, where solutions are singular (yes I'm aware this completely undoes the purpose of the shrines, I don't care I don't like it)

ruining wind waker:

1. they just port the OOT models over to the gamecube and give them some new textures
2. no fast travel (I'm evil)
3. remove the intricate functionality of the items, leaving them to each only do a singular thing, being unable to interact with each other or do anything in combat

In my recent "Let's see if I like Wind Waker now" playthrough, I didn't use fast travel and it led to a lot of wasted time, but I also understand the appeal of the Great Sea now. So it helped.
I personally find the sailing very calming (until a gyorg comes along and ruins it) but I can easily understand why people dislike it, as it's very monotonous

1. Remove the open-world gameplay in favor of giving Link straight paths to walk to and from each location.
2. Remove stamina and climbing.
3. Gimmick controls of some kind.

ST
1. Traditional controls.
2. Better dungeon design.
3. An open-world to explore.

Favorite: MM
For all of the sidequests to be gone so the game is lacking in content and the overall world of Termina

For the 3 day mechanic only being a day and there’s no option to make it go slower or to go forward

For all the cool areas like Ikana Canyon and the Deku Palace to be replaced with generic stock areas

For the moon instead being something dumb or goofy that isn’t nearly as threatening and only will destroy some of Termina, removing all the stress and feeling of the game

Least favorite: Phantom Hourglass

For the music to be very memorable and beautiful

For a Linebeck sub plot with Jolene or something, I love that guy

For it to have the best atmosphere and world of any Zelda game

For it to be MM

Favorite: Majora's Mask
-Shorten the 3-day cycle to one day
-Add more dungeons and make them too difficult
-Brighten up the game (literally and metaphorically)

Least favorite: Zelda II: The Adventure of Link
-Make the game look better
-Clearer sense of direction
-More puzzle based rather than action
