I went an entire decade having a Wii U without knowing that you can get full res screenshots off of it through a smol online method
granted I'm much more of a screenshot junkie now than I was years ago but still

1. press the home screen button in the middle of any game
2. go to the internet browser and your image hosting site of choice
3. hit the upload image button (or whatever it's called on the site you choose, imgbox is what worked for me)
4. choose which screen (TV vs gamepad) you want to upload
5. type the link in on your laptop or whatever to save it
6. profit
