maybe i should do a proper ranking
im lowkey kind of currently taking identifying the whole cast more seriously now, so maybe alongside that? a lot of characters i see and its pretty obvious but during this playthrough a couple of lesser obvious id's came to me based on some bugs i found last year (shoutout to a specific caterpillar) and i've been taking a little more effort to hunt some down
i do appreciate that the artstyle does seem to generally follow some rules though, like even if i cant narrow an id, i usually know what insect order a character is based on the features they have that they share with other characters in the same order...

Also I don't think they would ever drastically change Jibanyan's design like that because of all of his clones.

well they didnt change his design, its more an artstyle change
it's expected to happen if they draw that character so much for all the animation frames tbh, like they find a way to streamline the design and potentially make it easier to animate as well
