the only thing im finding surprising about the story is that it went against the obvious story that the marketing was portraying... yet the dramatic "twist" that it was trying to build up was so painfully obvious that im actually furious i was right about it an hour into playing the game

and they handled it in the worst way possible too... dont know if i'll make a rant blog about it (cuz i kind of have a different rant i wanted to write about automata people and i dont wanna write that one AND one about cringe zelda plots) but i may ***** about it in a totk thread later after i beat the game

I’ve seen some people hating on Sidon’s new fiancé and I don’t get it because she’s really cute to me. Probably just hate her because Nintendo made it cannon Sidon has a lover and that upsets the SidLink fans because they want them together even though the pairing makes no sense

she made my villain senses tingle
but you 100% aren't wrong about the shipping thing. People are going right ahead and shipping them regardless of his fiance

Also, it was funny to me how they made a big deal out of Sidon "taking the throne" but he literally couldn't because #1 he can't fit on it and #2 where's would they put Dorephan anyway??

That's one of those "zomg must see films before you die" that I have no interest in.

I watched it in the 8th grade and couldn't understand anything that was going on, I kinda wanna watch it again some time cus the synopsis is really interesting.

I’ll also say I think Paya in this game is a lot more tolerable and toned down than she was in BotW. Her being the new chief is cool, and there’s less of her being incredibly shy and over dramatically awkward towards Link than she was in the last game[/ISPOILER

I didn't really think anything of her either way, she's just the new Kakariko leader, tryna figure it out, which is a big improvememnt from breath of the weath
