I was in a class about learning algorithms this week and apparently they use the human input in captchas to generate free data that can be used to improve bots aimed at filtering/image creation so now it's kind of a loopyeah these are definitely ai generated at this point sjkfsk
captcha gives generated images > we give mostly accurate answers (yall prolly noticed sometimes we put slightly wrong answers and it still accepts it) > they fine tune stuff based on what was recognized by us > captcha gives those generated images
kinda cool we're unknowingly training future terminators (this is a joke) just to be able to access random stuff
