Speaking of events, that comic con with the Smash tournament is tomorrow, thing is I had a last minute change of plans and I'll be going out of town with my dad. Thing is, I think it's a monthly event so I'll be at the February one hopefully.

Knowing that area, and the town you live in specifically, I'm kinda surprised there isn't, maybe you just haven't heard of anything yet.
Gamer Con in my state is only once or twice a year, which kinda sucks since if you miss it you have to wait quite a while. I still haven't gotten a chance to go yet
With the addition of cota, my state gets 3 NASCAR races each year

there are conventions from time to time, just not anything thats more frequent as far as i know. theres the grid and they do smash tourneys every wednesday tho
