Yeah so I am stuck in the first part of the mining facility like I cant even open the DOOR WHAT DO I DO!?

You have to pull down the lever on the top-left corner wall. You can do this by running up the wall.

You are in the first room I assume? Look at the pits of quicksand; you'll notice there are bombable statues along the walls like those found in the desert. There is a bomb planted somewhere in the room that can be moved with the Beetle. Bomb down those statues and use them to reach levers on the other side of the quicksand. One of those levers will open the door.
