Backstory:
An advisor to many former emperors, Lorean was seen as a mainstay in the imperial household; a neutral observer who would suggest what was best for Grimon in general, no matter who ruled it. He chose to go into retirement when Morthax overthrew his predecessor, Jurgen the Brutal, due to being tired of the latter constantly ignoring his wisdom. In the few years since his retirement, Morthax grew more powerhungry and brutal than even his predecessor, who had the adjective literally in his name. Choosing to leave his retirement in order to help steer this new emperor back on track, he was turned away at the palace gates, and told his services were no longer necessary. Now incredibly pissed off, he goes to search for a worthy replacement for Morthax, so that he may advise the new emperor to be better for the land and its people.
