Not really. Or at least not necessarily. A night killer - say a Vig or SK - who wants to get far into the game (preferably survive till the very end) does not night kill the players that he/she expressed suspicions toward earlier in the game. If there is a link between the killer and the victim, the Mafia might be able to secretly figure out who the Vig/SK is and then go for the night kill. This was how I played in FMA Mafia as the Serial Killer, and apparently it worked tremendously well.

I was really speaking toward how members of the Mafia would choose their victims, not the other NK roles. For aVig or SK to kill off anyone who they themselves found suspicious would be risky because the Mafia can target them, but that issue does not apply to the Mafia themselves.

Sonething just dose not seem how hard he is going after pendio.

I wouldn't specifically say that I'm going after Pendio. The point I wanted to get across was that, if no one else came up that presented any scummy activity, it would be more advantageous to vote for someone, rather than opt for a no lynch for this Day. The wagon is on Thar now, so my post would be directed at him, rather than Pendio.
