Since when does damsel in distress = sexist?
Zelda does, at times, appear to be helpless when in the clutches of Ganon. Is this sexist? She is not portrayed as weak; just captured.
Is it sexist that Link is male a Zelda is female? Zelda is so important that it causes Link to risk his life for her. Would the feminists prefer that the heroine is not saved?
It is true that the hero of Hyrule is a guy. Does this make the franchise sexist? If so, is the Metroid series sexist toward men because the hero is female?

To me, 'sexism' is making a female character weak, or stupid, or anything negative. There is no evidence of this in the Zelda franchise. It's simply one of the most ridiculous claims I have ever heard.

Ha! There's a reason they named it Legend of ZELDA and not Legend of LINK. Bow down to the princess.
