Personally, I was turned off of Champions Ballad from almost the beginning. Opening the DLC with the story-free One Hit Obliterator immediately gave me a bad feeling, but the rest of the DLC felt so disconnected and irrelevant that I still haven't finished it. Outside of the Master Trials, I don't recommend any of the paid DLC for the game.
