I'm not even sure if this is in the right section, but I can't VM people, and I can't upload a signature. Like, I don't even see a VM box to type things in. Help!

Are you sure you clicked on the "image" icon so you could upload your signature? It should come up with this HTML tag ->

along with your siggy's url. I don't know when it comes to the VM's. Some people might have dark profiles which make it hard for their friends to see their VM box, so you'll probably have to "highlight" a few areas. Hope this helps. =/
