I Think I Finally Got the Timeline Down.

I believe I got what is an accurate timeline down. 3 things:

1. No remakes, rereleases, soulcaliber 2 (gamecube version only the PS2 and Xbox versions did not have Link), Smash Bros., Tetris DS (just a tetris retelling of Loz), or (shudders at their mention) the CD-I games (If I had to put them in the timeline I'd put them at the end of timeline B.)

2. I know people will say nope to this theory.

3. I also know many will believe this is a copy paste of the timeline on Zelda wiki. This is my own timeline.

A. SS-OoT-MM-TP
B. SS-OoT-WW-PH-ST-MC-FS-FSA-OoA/OoS(depends on order played)-ALttP-LA-LoZ-Aol

Wait, so this is linear? The "timeline" is split. Nintendo has confirmed that.

It is split. A = Adult B = Child. I think it seems accurate, but I would plot ALttP last, and switch LoZ and AoL. Other than that, it sounds about right.

Oh. I thought it meant like different options, or something.

I'm still gonna say that we can't place the FS trilogy and Oracle games anywhere, though. AND that the first four games aren't on the "adult timeline."

A is the child timeline while B is the adult timeline.

Three more things:

1. I honestly guessed on where the Oracle games as well as the four sword trilogy should go.

2. Link's Awakening showed him going through a dreamed adventure and I believe he appeared at the Hyrule of the original games (after he woke up).

3. Speaking of the four sword games, I did not know which order to place FS and FSA, this is just a guess.

Why is that? Is there something that you are unsure of?

Other than that, my only request is that you explain your placement of OoX. They are normally placed after LttP or AoL, the only two games that end with Ganon dead and the Triforce with the Royal Family. FSA has neither of these.

What Locke said.

Plus, your placement of the FSS is fine because it sort of explains how Ganon goes from dead at the end of TWW to sealed at the beginning of ALttP (and the Palace of the Four Sword shows a broken Four Sword, which could be interpreted to tie in to Ganon being sealed in the Four Sword at the end of FSA). At least, that's what placing the FSS there does if you don't stick OoX right after it. :P

This is actually a pretty good timeline for the most part, and close to the one I've been supporting since I got into theorizing. The only issue I have is why the OoX games are placed before ALttP. The thing is, in the Oracle games, Ganon is dead, which implies a placement after ALttP or AoL. In your timeline, Ganon is only sealed in the Four Sword in FSA, not killed, which couldn't lead into the Oracle games since he's dead in those.

Basically what Jarsh said, but I'll reiterate.

A. SS-OoT-MM-TP
B. SS-OoT-WW-PH-ST-MC-FS-FSA-OoA/OoS(depends on order played)-ALttP-LA-LoZ-Aol

The bolded is the only thing I see wrong here. OoS/OoS (Oox) has to take place after a title where Ganon is dead, and the Triforce is in possession of the royal family. This could be ALttP or AoL (though I think ALttP makes more sense due to the position of the Triforce - Hyrule Castle Vs. North Castle.)

And again, it seems the hardest problem is to put the Oracle Games in the correct timeline. Unfortunately, I've never played one of the Oracle games so I can't tell the correct order in the timeline for these games.

But the timeline itself looks fine. I've read many timelines, and the one you created is not as weird as some other I've studied. Nice.
