The game is on!
Oron is returning to Kakariko in my first post, so he hasn’t been doing anything. I’m assuming the state of Kakariko village will force him back into Castle Town.

Gotcha! Then it all looks good to me. You're accepted and may start posting whenever.

One last thing though. Have you read through the game thread, or would you like me to send you a summary I have of the events thus far? :)

Name: Tahr
Age: 26
Race: Non-Hylian Human
Gender: Male
Weapon or Power: Tahr relies on his wits more so than his physical ability. When it does come down to a real fight, however, he favors an ornate dagger with a crooked handle that he keeps concealed on his person. Tahr also carries a magical bag that can store however much he puts into it without having to worry about the cumulative weight or size of the contents.
Appearance: As a human from distant lands, his rounded ears are an uncommon feature. Tahr's somewhat long, unkempt hair is a fairly bright red, similar to a Gerudo's in color. Unlike a Gerudo, however, his skin is fair and his body not especially muscular. Tahr's eyes are blue and his features sort of ruggedly handsome. He stands at around 5'10.

Personality: Tahr is clever and charismatic; he uses his silver tongue to get in people's good graces. Ultimately, however, his many shortcomings eventually catch up to him. Tahr is a coward with little sense of pride, greedy, and self-serving. Because of this, people who don't know Tahr tend to like him and those who know him well generally don't.
Backstory: Tahr has traveled from his homeland—some distant island city—in search of wealth and power. Tahr is unaware of the dynamics of Hyrule or the conflict it is engaged in, and is ultimately uninterested in who wins it so long as he can take advantage of the situation in a way that benefits himself.

One of the Hylian generals was captured by the Gerudo during a failed invasion of the desert. A few of her closest companions deserted the war effort in order to track her down, and in doing so uncovered the conspiracy that the war isnt about right a wrong, it a land dispute, but about each nations leaders hoping for ultimate power, in the form of the all-corrupting Triforce. They're now preparing to return to the desert to free the general.

In case you'd like a slightly more detailed summary the roleplay takes place 10 years before OoT during the civil war that took place in Hyrule around that time. The kingdom is divided into five major factions that are all at war with one another; the Hylians in Castle Town, the Sheikah in Kakariko Village, the Gerudo in Gerudo Town, the Gorons in Goron City, and the Zora in Zora’s Domain. The Kokiri in the forest are not involved in the war, and until recently in the RP most of the Kokiri didn’t even know there was a war going on outside of the forest.

None of the soldiers or citizens of any faction knows why they are fighting. The reasons behind the war are strictly secret, so it is assumed that only the topmost leaders of eachfaction know about it. The war has been going on for about a decade so at this point in time, most soldiers don’t even question why they fight anymore. They just do it in a patriotic sense. Anyway, my character, Linora (a Hylian archer) became a deserter from the Hylian forces seven years ago because she didn’t think it would do any good to continue the fighting. So in the past couple of years, Linora has been doing research around the land to try to figure out the real reasons behind the war. She hasn’t been able to learn a whole lot, but she was able to find information about an ancient magical artefact which could grant the wish of whoever touched it (the Triforce obviously, but during this time in Hyrule history (at least for this RP) the Triforce is not yet common knowledge). Linora starts suspecting that this magical wish granting item could be what everyone is after, and that’s the cause of the civil war. Anyway, early on in the RP she was captured by the Hylian army and brought in for questioning since she had been a wanted deserter for the past several years. She gets the choice of either rejoining the army or being sentenced to death. She unwillingly chooses to rejoin the army.

As Linora is coming back into the military she befriends Libk’s character, Celica (a Hylian fire mage) and DekuNut’s character, William (a Hylian energy mage). Those two characters had known each other for quite a while since they have fought together in the Hylian army, and they took good care of Linora when she was new in the military again. Not long thereafter the Hylians go to the border to the desert to attack the Gerudo. During this battle at Gerudo Valley Celica was kidnaped by the Gerudo and Linora and William were just barely able to escape with the rest of the Hylian troops. Saddened by the loss of Celica, Linora decides to desert from the army again because she wanted to investigate in the forest and talk to the Great Deku Tree who would surely hold some valuable information about Hyrule’s past. But the forest is on the opposite end of the land, so traveling there by oneself in these wartimes would be very risky, so Linora manages to convinceWilliam to go with her to the forest. Additionally, before the two of them desert the army together, they set free a Goron war prisoner that they knew was locked up in the castle dungeons. This is Mido’s character, Mortenius (a Goron career soldier), who agrees to come with Linora and William as thanks for saving him.

So the three of them make it across the field and they eventually come to Kokiri Forest, where they learn that the Kokiri were completely unaware of the ongoing war outside the forest and they talk to the Great Deku Tree who commends their efforts to try to find an end to the war and he also tells them everything he knows about the Triforce (basically the stuff he and Zelda explain in OoT). So now, knowing exactly what the Triforce is, the crew is one step closer to their goal, which is to bring peace back to Hyrule.

Meanwhile Celica is being held captive in the desert by the Gerudo King, Ganondorf, who seems to enjoy having her as his prisoner there. He keeps her locked up and occasionally treats her to fine dinners that are quite uncomfortable. While she is being held there, Ganondorf tells Celica a little bit about the Triforce too.

Anyway, the current main party leaves the forest with two new team mates. The first one is Woyogoyo’s character, Lann (a Kokiri explorer) and the second one is Storm’s character, Rasul (a Dwarf from a faraway land that arrived in Hyrule only a few weeks ago). When Rasul had just arrived in the war waging Hyrule he obviously didn’t know much of what was going on, but he found his way to Kakariko Village where he was welcomed into the Sheikah army and mentored by a minor character of mine, Cornea (a Sheikah shadow mage). Rasul fought in a few battles with Cornea and the rest of the Sheikah before he one night went out into the field and was attacked and almost killed by Stallchildren. Those endeavours eventually led him to the Kokiri Forest where he met up with the crew right after they had talked to the Great Deku Tree.

Soon after the five leave the forest they meet Ryuken's character, Riddel (a half Hylian/half Rito outcast who seems to be a regular Hylian because he hides his few Rito features). Riddel joins the team since his goals are similar to the group's. Then they set off for the desert in hopes of being able to rescue Celica from the Gerudos. They discuss ways to infiltrate Gerudo Town and just recently met Yoyo015's character, Oron (a Hylian blacksmith). That's about where we're at right now. ;)
