Hyrulean Civil War RP [Game Thread]

[Storm]

Rasul wakes up in a cell, a chest probably containing his property acrtoss the room and 3 cells away. Rasul is pretty much screwed

 

[Pen]

Linora borrows a uniform from Celica. She puts it on and it turns out to be a good size for her. She then put her green scarf around her neck. She wouldn't leave that behind.

Cornea continues his search for the dwarf. Strange. He didn't think the Gorons were smart enough to see through Rasul's bluff. Apparently they underestimated the Gorons...

After a while Cornea sneaks his way into the dungeons below Goron City. There he finds three sleeping Goron guards and many cells, all empty except for one. Finally he found Rasul! With his superior Sheikah stealth abilities he takes the cell keys from one of the sleeping guards and unlocks the door to Rasul's cell without making a sound. He gestures to Rasul to be quiet.

 

[Storm]

Rasul sneaks over to the chest with his items and dons what he can and prepares to sneak out silently

 

[Pen]

As soon as Rasul had grabbed his stuff, Cornea grabbed Rasul's arm and without any warning teleported in a flash with him back to Kakariko Village right in front of the sanctuary of the elders. "Sorry about that, but we had to hurry," he tells Rasul and steps in to face the elders. "The Gorons are indeed already preparing an attack, and I fear it might be on our village this time. We have to speed up our mobilisation."

 

[Storm]

Rasul wraps his left arm in bandage, and covers it in armor. the Goron tattoo artist did his mark. he is so anti-Goron right now he will kill all those rockbiters after what they did to him.

 

[Pen]

Impa is also there. "The army is almost ready," she tells them. "Preparations are going well. We just need a little more time." She looks at Cornea and Rasul. "Are you two still in fighting condition? We will need every man and woman we can get."

"I am ready," Cornea says, sounding very determined.

 

[Storm]

Rasul holds his greatsword up, looking at it
" Oh yes, I am ready. this is now Personal"

 

[Pen]

(( @Mido we'll wait for you here if you want time for Mortenius to return to Goron City before it starts. ))

 

[Libk]

Celica leads Linora to the war room and heads to the front of the table, a giant map of Hyrule on top of it. No one else had shown up yet, which was great as far as Celica was concerned. She looked at the mao,already set up with the placements of the Hylian army, as well as the last known locations of the armies of the other races. The Zora were starting to sandwich everyone else, having control of the lake to the west and their Domain to the easy. In addition, their ability to move across Hyrule rather quickly, thanks to the water networks, made them difficult to track down. But their fight tomorrow would not be woith Zora. Instead it would be the Gerudo, so she studied their territory

 

[Pen]

Linora glances at the map from the other side of the table as they await the rest of the attendants. All she knew was that they would start marching toward the desert this afternoon in order to get there by tomorrow and deal the first strike. She assumed the details of the assault would be decided during this meeting.

 

[Mido]

(( @Pendio Morten won't likely make the Goron city battle, due to the rescue mission. I was actually planning to once again encounter the other group, so if you two want, you can go ahead with their story, but thanks for the notice!))

Morten, after much rolling, manages to reach the young Goron's cell undetected, and promptly rips the cell door apart. Unfortunately, this attracts very heavy attention from guards. Without a word, both Morten and the prisoner roll out of the prison, dash quickly through the city, unfortunately meeting a prepared force at the gate, a gate that was now rising up, preventing any chance of easy escape. This, was going to be a problem.

 

[Pen]

Most of the other attendants of the war meeting eventually join Linora and Celica in the room. They are still awaiting a few other it seems.

Cornea goes home and makes his final preparations for the upcoming battle. He then goes to the foot of the watch tower where he waits for Rasul.

 

[Storm]

Rasul walks up to the watchtower to Kornia
" well i suppose you have a plan?"

 

[DekuNut]

Will approaches the door of the goron general's cell and peeks inside.

 

[Pen]

"Somewhat. Yes," Cornea replies. "It's not much of a plan though to be honest. We will defend our village and drive the rock men back up the mountain. I expect to see them rolling down to meet us any moment now.

Right then they heard a rumbling sound in the ground. However, it was not the Goron army, but the Sheikah army, led by Master Impa herself. The army halted behind Cornea and Rasul.

"The three of us will lead the charge. My brave army will give us a solid backup," Impa says to the two of them. They start marching up the mountain path with Cornea, Rasul and Impa in the front. Soon they can see the approaching dust cloud of the Goron army rolling down towards them. Cornea puts on his Skull Mask and raises his brass knuckle clad fists. It was time for the mountain dwellers to learn not to mess with the Sheikah!
