Zero was the best Smash Bros WiiU player. He has made some videos explaining in great detail how to play Smash Bros Ultimate. These videos are designed so the average player can understand them and get to grips of everything involved in the game. Highly recommended that most players watch these videos to understand all these techniques.

Gotta be honest here, and say I don't really like Smash tutorials, because they just teach you to mimic someone else's playstyle. I don't care if I don't play like someone like ZeRo; I'd rather play like myself. I wanna find my own style, and my own combo game, even if it's non-traditional and less valid in a competitive context. Everyone who aspires to play competitively aims for the same exact moves and combos because they learn by imitating, and it's pretty disappointing, really.

I'd love to fight Zero and watch the heart attack he has when he sees my terrible technical Smash Prowess.

I watched one of his videos saying the best thing to do for an advantage is to cancel a run by hitting down so you have all your moves and can close gaps.

I tried it and oh god i didnt like it. I think you need to feel comfortable playing a game before you can get good and his tip felt horrible for me.

I'm sure many people don't like tutorials because they would rather learn on their own. That's fine. But for others tutorials are a great thing. They teach you techniques you never knew beforehand. Zero here in these videos is not telling anyone what style to use. He's just teaching how to do the techniques then you have to incorporate them into your own style. He did say he can't teach people how to use them in a match so much because each match is different and everyone has a different style.

All he is doing is saying, here's a technique, here's how too do it and here is why it's a technique worth learning.

Do you want to learn on your own by playing or do you want to watch turtorials like these and learn from the best?
Neither option is wrong. Having both available is a great thing. Also Zero is a good teacher, I watched all the videos and I found them very informative. Very well explained. Though personally I do think watching these after some basic Smash Bros play is better, so you're not overwhelmed. Practice enough on your own to beat low level CPUs then what he's talking about will make more sense.

These kind of tutorials are not for everyone but for those who like them, they can help a lot.

I have been watching his character specific videos. His guides for Young Link, King K. Rool, and Chrom were very helpful. I still need to watch his Ike video. Also, I watch his stream to get better. Since he usually styles on random people without thinking much about it, he's always giving some helpful tips.
