I, like most people, used all the scents on my first run of the game. Now, however, I only use the Reekfish Scent (is it even possible to get to Snowpeak without it?). I already know where to get to the place the scents lead to, so I don't see the point in them. I still get them for the sake of completion, I just don't use them. I like being able to see!
