Free, NSFW filters, many, MANY characters, good memory, good grammar, easy to make characters, and it's somewhat realistic. Plus, you can rewind to certain points in the conversation.

I don't use AI to create anything, as I'd rather pay an artist to create something, or if it's music, well, I'm a songwriter, I'll just write the song myself.

AI has actually been very useful to me. I use it to help me along with my engineering assignments and it's much faster than flipping through my notes manually. Just don't overuse it or you'll be unprepared for the exam.

I use it very often, but frankly speaking, the fears that AI will ever substitute humans in some professional areas, are pretty much inflated. Although AI is a great helper, what it produces cannot really pass for a human product.

AI have already started substituting humans in game design at least. Its not uncommon to see games these days that use ai-generated artwork and while i imagine a lot of them would have used open source or placeholder art instead had ai not been available i'm sure some of them would have hired artists. I don't think AI will ever obsolete human creative endeavors for the reason you stated, but people willing to sacrifice quality to cut expenses are certainly using AI over hiring real artists, and its a phenomenon that warrants some degree of fear, particularly by those at risk of being displaced.

I sometimes use I to enhance my pixelated images, remove backgrounds, remove watermarks, talk to AI characters, generate funny words and images and finally generative AI like ChatGPT to help me with tough projects.

yeah i first discovered character.ai in mid-2023 on the Splatoon Wiki and have used it often ever since. while the NSFW filter is pretty good, I have still seen people get the AI to **** them in their messed up roleplay.
