How hard is it for you to avoid spoilers?

For some forms of media avoiding spoilers can be pretty easy, especially if its niche, its down to you not to look.

But overbkown franchises like Game of Thrones and Zelda can have a lot of coverage online, appear in pop ups and ads and are constsantly being spoken about out in the world.

If youre in to any huge franchises how hard is it for you to avoid spoilers?

Does it make socialising either online or in life difficult sometimes?

Near impossible, apparently. The freaking cable company here spoiled last weeks GoT & this weeks got spoiled as well by my girlfriends brother.

I work too close to the Zelda news cycle to avoid spoilers there as well, and I like Pokemon too much to avoid spoilers there, haha.

It's a nightmare.

It appears that if you really want to avoid spoilers you have to shut yourself out of social media entirely lol.

In the past I waited until series end to watch GOT but this time I watched every episode as soon as I could to avoid spoilers. It worked.

As for Zelda. Unless you go on Zelda sites and watch playthroughs before you get the game you don't tend to get spoiled. Nobody likes Zelda in England so none of my friends are going to post spoilers on Facebook.

I'm four (possibly 5) episodes behind on game of thrones but I've found avoiding spoilers surprisingly easy. I unfollowed game of thrones on twitter and don't look on any media sites

I'm very bad at avoiding spoilers. I just want to know what happens even though I know I'd appreciate it more if I wait to experience it how it is supposed to be experienced. I'm so bad that I watched a clip of the most spoiler-rich scene of The Force Awakens online even though I'd be seeing the movie 8 hours later.

I'm pretty good at avoiding spoilers mostly because the companies don't think oh lets subtitle our stuff and I only follow a couple of Zelda sites and they only post old junks

Sometimes it's like impossible to avoid spoilers. It will appear everywhere just when you try to avoid it. But in general I don't really care about spoilers. I read them anyway. In case of BotW I succeeded in knowing as less as possible about the game. Of course I watched trailers but I avoided spoilers on purpose for the first time in my life :P
