Daruk could literally smash things easily and all that jazz, and Fireblight ragdolls after two freaking shots - how is it possible that Daruk lost?
What's even better is the blight most affected by arrows killing a bow wielder. Ravioli truly was the greatest archer of all the rito if he couldn't overpower something that was weak to the only weapon he uses.
Daruk didn't have bombs as far as I know, and you did need bombs to counter that one, big attack from Fireblight
I was actually reading a Reddit post yesterday that kind of explains why he may have failed. When the Calamity struck the Champions were on Lanayru Road and had to disperse to their Divine Beasts. Medoh was by far the furthest away, and Revali also probably had to fly over Central Hyrule which would have been overrun by corrupted Guardians. What's even better is the blight most affected by arrows killing a bow wielder. This makes me long for an alternative universe breath of the wild where one of the champions survives and they guide you instead of impa and don't reveal who they areSo it's possible if luck has been on his side that Revali may have been able to beat Windblight, under different conditions.
You know, if it was Revali, then the actual plot twist that he didn't like Link at first, but then ended up having to guide him and grew to like him through the guidence would actually be pretty cool. This makes me long for an alternative universe breath of the wild where one of the champions survives and they guide you instead of impa and don't reveal who they are
