Hearts?

what are those hearts on top of the peeps user names? I think its some sort of ranking, and if it is, how do you move up? :/

The hearts are displayed to show how much reputation one has. The more hearts, the more reputation. However, there's also negative reputation, and that is shown by skulls. Reputation is not a ranking.

Also, questions like these are best asked to other members, not in threads.

Agreed with PA. He pretty much summed it up. There is nothing super special about the reputation that each user has. You can gain hearts by getting reputation from other users. Usually questions like these are better directed toward moderators. They'll answer your questions.
