Never. I would have absolutely no idea what I was doing and I don't trust myself to be able to put it back together correctly. That kind of thing is completely beyond me.

Besides building a PC, I have the old disc drive for our Wii still (it needed replacement) and I took apart my Pro Controller to try and fix the drift.
