Have you ever gotten out of gaming?

I'd say that in the few years prior to the Switch's release, I wasn't gaming much at all.

the Wii U generation had very little to catch my interest, and I hadn't really taken the time to explore the 3DS's library, so I didn't game much then.
once the Switch released, I picked back up in gaming quite a bit, and especially once I played BotW, that really got me back into gaming as a whole.

Not for any extended period of time. When I was first stationed in Germany back in 2014, I didn't have any of my gaming consoles with me. While it inhibited my ability to game, I was still able to do so on a casual basis at the on base MWR, which kept a stock of Xbox One and PS4 consoles and games in stock. Eventually, I decided I need to be able to do it at at home again and dropped a cool $300 on a friend's old gaming laptop. Suddenly I was gaming again on the regular.
