Has one of your favourite video game characters ever appeared in a different game?

Crossovers, cameos and guest appearances can be a cool thing if they're done right.

It is pretty cool to see a character appear in a game that plays differently from the game they're originally from.

The Dopefish is legendary for making cameo appearences in other games. It's original game - Commander Keen 4 I really like and in my opinion it's the best Commander Keen game. So good it got Tom Hall fired from iD Software.
(The story was, Tom Hall wanted to make more games like Commander Keen 4, everyone else at iD said no, we're making DOOM. This along with design disputes about DOOM, forced Tom Hall to leave iD).
