To be honest, some of us that are agreeing are doing so simply because, with the information at hand and general confusion this game gives, there's really no better option. I mean, what are we supposed to do? No-lynch for however many days there are until we figure this out?

I obviously don't want to no lynch, that would be dumb. But easy lynches are usually mislynches. I was just seeing if anyone had any counter ideas, because having not so great plans isn't inherently scummy.

And people were able to use roles last night and get info, so someone may have other leads.

It confirmed that I wasn't a serial killer

Another thing that could prove that was that I self-targeted myself, if I was a serial killer I'd've killed myself last night.

If you want irrefutable proof it's kinda impossible for now, but as soon as someone with an investigative role appears you can use it on me.

So far, the only options presented are easy lynches. Ex because he's coming across kinda scummy, me because I really don't have anything helpful to add... See the pattern? At this rate, if we don't start figuring out roles soon, Town will destroy itself without Mafia needing to do anything.

However I don't really like that everyone is agreeing and there's no pushback at all. Just seems too easy. And although Ex has been odd and confusing to me, I'm not sure if his play is that of mafia. Kinda seems like he genuinely thought self targeting was a good move to not cause any problems with town. I may not agree with it, but he feels genuine in his thoughts about his plan to me.

Tbh I don't think we're going to have any "real" evidence to build a strong case until the end of today as most of us only just found out our alignment (and assuming third party roles, some probably still don't know), and very few if any know our role iirc.

Like I said, I just see this as the best lead and like Rubik said, at best he's acting anti-town. I almost always vote anti-town when I don't have a better lead, and I don't currently see any reason to do differently today.

I don't see a world here where ex is a wolf, and they did commit to self targeting before the wagon blew up. I think they're telling the truth

If using a role when you have just a passive one would result in a failed action, I assume.

If you perform an action that is not possible, it will count as a failed action.
