Breath of the Wild Got the Expansion Pass...where's my free loot?

So I got the Expansion Pass and should have the Day 1 bonuses. But there's been no in-game message or anything. Do I just have to find them? Where are they...?

And yes, I do have the patch installed.

DLC Support is going to be added in a literal day one patch. Wait til 12pm CST. I have the patch thanks to based data miners but you regular folks have to wait until Nintendo officially releases it.

I have the patch. I live in Australia. It's already done and ready, I just need to find the loot. (Fixed the original post btw.) Although, I feel like an idiot now since GameXplain have posted a video about it. -_-

Yeah you have to actually find it. There is no free handoyts in this game. Even a $20-$30 handout still has to be found.

Just loot Hyrule Castle for EoDs and royal guard weapons instead. Backout and rinse repeat. Enter from Moat side and start from minecart underground, end at Zelda's Study for royal guard bow.

Kind of what I meant when I said I felt like an idiot. I'd already done the Shrines when I got the pass and didn't really bother actively looking for the chests. When I did bother looking, I didn't even think to check near the Shrines. -_-
