Just ordered one of these as I wanna play Minish Cap!

Just want to double check - GBA SPs can play normal gameboy/gameboy colour games too right? (As I wanna play the oracle games on it too!)

Yes, both the GBA SP and GBA SP + can play GBC and GB games.

In fact, you get special features in the Oracle games if you play them in a GBA system

Whoa, I forgot about the GBA SP. I think I've still got mine laying around somewhere. Bet it still works too

Yup, the GBA SP is fully compatible with all previous Gameboy games. Personally still use mine on occasion and it's still my favorite handheld ever.

It is backward compatible w/ all GB games, I played through links awakening on it. And speaking of the durability, the plastic top shell on mine is breaking off, but probably because we got the system used, and 5 people in my family played it regularly.

yes it will had mine for at least 8 years still play the oracles and minish cap on it to this day
