Games You should Play Before You Die

So I was thinking, what games do you think everyone NEEDS to play before they die. I think a list of games would be rather interesting. Right now all I can think of is.

Ballz 3D
and of course Shadow the hedgehog.

Ocarina of Time is pretty high up there on my "You neeeeed to play this!" scale when I talk to non-Zelda fans (not as often to fellow fans, since most of us have played it ) .

Another would be Okami, it's a beautiful game that delivers an incredibly complete experience. It's a game that any 3D Zelda fan should check out especially, but I would recommend it to any gamer.

Any main series Pokemon game, can't go wrong really. I'm not the biggest fan of Gen III, but I would still recommend them if that was the only Pokemon game someone had access to. For the gamer who can appreciate the older titles, you can't beat the combination of Pokemon RBY, GSC and Stadium 2. Most complete Pokemon experience we've had to date, and most likely ever will. Prove me wrong Nintendo.

Last one, would be Donkey Kong Country 2. Anyone who can appreciate a good platformer needs to play through that game at least once.

I believe that we should all play Call of Duty: Black Ops, Modern Warfare 3, and Black Ops II before we die. Just to see where FPS got good, died off, and stayed dead.

Then, give The New Tetris for N64 a good run or two. Alongside that, play Goldeneye 007 for N64, Turok Rage Wars, Zelda Ocarina of Time, and Majora's Mask.

Later, touch on Star Ocean: Till the End of Time for PS2 and push forward in The Last Hope for PS3.

Finally, give the entire Resident Evil series a good run, and perhaps have a lovely date with Star Wars Battlefront II.

The first CoD games were good. The new ones - not so much. I haven't played any of them ever since 2, although from what I see, I didn't miss much.

And on topic:

-Skyward Sword - I have been wanting to try motion controls from a long time.
-Battlefield 3 - As someone who played alot of Bad Company 2, I want to see what became of Battlefield 3.
-Magicka - Seems fun co-op with friends, or destroying other players in multyplayer... He he he...
-Empire and Shogun 2:Total War - I have played alot of Medieval 2 and would like to see how the series evolved.

I can't believe that no one has said Final Fantasy IX... or VI.

IX was the absolute peak of Final Fantasy greatness, and I think that it should be played by everyone. VI isn't as good, IMO, but it deserves the same treatment.
