Link uses the Skyward Sword to go back and forth between the lands so he probably just warps back.

Link goes back and forth between Sky loft and Hyrule by the Skyward Sword not the bird.
We don't know that. It's his "driving force" which I take to mean motivation. Yes, that could be the case, but it's not confirmed.
I think the bird represents the people from the sky, whom the Hylians must have known about before Link descended since the emblem appears on his shield.

Link is probably just warping by using the skyward sword, but the bird idea was a great theory but who knows, your theory might be right, and wat does the red bird mean, i might make a forum on that.

I started thinking about this and what if the bird is infact the oocca? That would not support your theory. I think the bird is very plausable and is what I really want to happen. As I said in a differnt topic, I talked about the kyward sword having the ability to take on more forms than just a woman and a sword. I think the sword may be able to transform into the Ghialoach.

The origin of the save bird statues were said to have been invented by civilizations in the past to honor the goddess until evil rose and attempted to destroy the world. Hoping that once day a young boy would be chosen to end evil's tyranny, each and every bird statue was blessed to respond to the chosen hero and link being the chosen hero was already linked to the crimson loftwing from the start when the goddess introduced it into the world.
