Flour vs Corn Tortillas

Both have old traditions, flour in the southwest US, especially New Mexico, and corn in Mexico. Both have many culinary uses and both are quite delicious. But the real question is which is better!?

I voted for corn tortillas because their texture allows for more flavor. Flour tortillas, while delicious, are often thick and chewy. Corn tortillas especially charred on the grill taste so good.

I like flour tortillas, but I admit I haven't tried corn tortillas. Even at so called "authentic" Mexican resturaunts where I live, they don't primarily use corn tortillas, aside from corn tortilla chips, which I have had and like.

I always like hardshell flour tortillas more. but between soft-shell corn and soft-shell flour I'll normally pick corn

Wheat of course I hardly eat them but if I have to choose it's corn. They keep you less hungry for a while.

I like both but prefer flour, I think it's cuz it wasn't something I could eat as a kid due to wheat allergies but I could eat corn no problem.
