Tech Help Firefox, Pls Hepl

So I've got this Firefox here, right? Well, whenever I click a link on Firefox, it brings up weird popups or it brings me to another site entirely. I'm at a loss for what to do, so if anyone knows how to help me nuke all this, please let me know.

It isn't ZD though. It's Firefox in general.

What extensions do you have installed? (type about:addons in the URL bar and hit enter, then click on Extensions, you can also check Plugins to see if there's anything strange there).

I'd install a popup blocker or adblock thing if I were you.

Go to your addons and search for adblock. You have to keep that as one word without a space in it to get the best one. I have adblock edge, but I've used adblock plus before and that also works.

An ad blocker won't help you. You've clearly got some adware running. That's what hijacks any kind of links like that. What you need to do is find an adware cleaner program. I suggest Spybot Search & Destroy. Install that, update it, and then run its scanner. It should catch whatever's doing this to you.

Use Google Chrome. But if the problem persists even on another browser, then it's definitely some adware system that got on to your computer.
