Spirit Tracks Fire Temple - Cart

Please please help. I am in the cart that takes Link up a level to get some treasure then a small key. The first time requires you to hit one orb to get some treasure, then you're supposed to go back down in the cart, then up again hitting 2 orbs to cahnge the direction of the cart. However, I can't reach both orbs with the boomerang in time to get to the top! I have tried and tried and tried!! If anyone can help I'd be really grateful!! Many thanks!

Hi again, Just looked again and the bow and arrow is found on the second floor so I only have the boomerang to hit the two orbs on the first floor! Any thoughts? Many thanks.
