Favorite Pokemon Protagonists

I haven't seen a thread on this matter, or it's just really old. In any case, I'd thought to bring it up here.

Who is your favorite protagonist in the main Pokemon games? This is mostly for aesthetics, as they are very much blank slates. My personal favorite is Brendan from the 3rd generation

I can never get over his awesome hat..... hair..... thing, and he's also from Emerald, which is my favorite Pokemon game.
