Have you ever enjoyed a cover to a song, more than you did the original? I used to be against covers, mainly because all I ever heard were rapings of good music. That was until I realized how many songs I liked were actually covers. Since then, I have been open to the idea and can even enjoy multiple versions of a song. Enough chatter, here are some of my faves.

This is 1,000 times better than the original song. I actually LIKE this, as opposed to the original, which I hate.

Every song Marilyn Manson has covered is better than the original (take Sweet Dreams and. You're So Vain for example), IMO.

I really like the Tori Amos covers of The Cure's Lovesong and Nirvana's Smells Like Teen Spirit. She put her own unique twist on them. I also like Placebo's cover of Kate Bush's classic "Running Up that Hill (A Deal with God)".

Another one is Johnny Cash covering "Hurt" by NIN. He nailed it, no pun intended
