I'm gonna name a few, I always end up forgetting a good one though.

The Boondock Saints - This is my #1 recommended movie, a lot of people haven't heard of it, and always say it was awesome after watching it.

Spaceballs - It has me laughing easily every 5 minutes, no matter how many times I've watched it.

Office Space - I didn't see this movie mentioned yet which amazes me, a classic movie that I find myself quoting pretty much every day.

The Prestige - Magic, Nikola Tesla, Rivalry, Dedication, whats not to like? I would start a new thread about this movie if I knew enough people have seen it.

Blow - Watching someone go from nothing to something, then have it crashing down on him, very emotional ending.

Requiem For A Dream - A movie about addiction and how far people will go to get what they are addicted to. The movie is actually pretty gross.

Scarface - Just a simply great movie with lots of action.

Braveheart - A good love story, and not just the love for a woman, but the love and loyalty for ones country.

Star Wars - Do I really need to say anything about Star Wars?

Lord of the Rings - Some epic battle scenes, and a good story although it can be kind of slow.

Batman: The Dark Knight - All around awesome movie.

I could keep going but I'll hold myself back or this could end up being a really, really long post.

Way way way WAY too many movies I love so I'll name a few

Goodfellas - Probably my favorite
The Godfather - This one was just amazing
Clockwork Orange - ...Wow... All I can say is... Wow
The Deer Hunter - A very powerful movie, I love it for that.
To kill a Mockingbird - This movie just had a brilliant story and was well written.
Casino - Similar to Goodfellas, not as good but still awesome.
Midnight Express - A very powerful movie, pretty sick too.
The Man with the Golden Gun - My favorite Bond film, and it's the way he should be, smooth yet fun, not like Daniel Craig who can't crack a smile.

I´ll have to go with "The Shawshank Redemption", quite surprised no one has mentioned it. It is a masterpiece and one of the few movies that made my eyes wet.

Another one would be The ark Knight. the action was superb! The dialog was cool and the story is great. Heath Ledger did such a great job as The Joker!

Dark Knight is overrated, Heath Legder is the worst Joker Ive ever seen, The Best still is Mark Hamil.
While I do really like Heath Ledger as the Joker, I always loved Mark Hamil. He's still the best. :D

....never even heard of Mark Hamil.
What the hell, Josh? Mark Hamil played Luke Skywalker in Star Wars! (He was also Skeleton King in Super Robot Monkey Team Hyper Force Go, and Overgrowth in Danny Phantom, and Firelord Ozai in Avatar: The Last Airbender.)

He also played the single best Joker ever, in the old Batman animated series. He was the voice of the Joker.

Anyway, my favorite movies (in no particular order) are:

Get Smart, Monster in Law, Kung Fu Panda, LotR Trilogy, and Hayao Miyazaki's movies (all of them,) and War of the Worlds (the new one.)

I have tons of other movies I love, but I think I could only really put these ones at the top.

Okay. Then I saw one movie that he was in. Otherwise don't really know.

I am a guy who has a camera and as aspired to become better at film, one day to possibly become an indie film maker, since I dislike a good deal of Hollywood stuff. It's been a tough three years of filming but I have definitely improved, and so having said that here's the movies that I found really special to me.

Metropolis (1927)
This is a German movie that was made in 1927, but the special effects are seriously comparable to that of Star Wars. Absolutely unbelievable effects, and also one of the first occurrences of a robot in films if I'm not mistaken. This movie actually was made before the word robot was coined, and therefore it's referred to as the "Machine Man" in this movie. Also, it's silent.

The Blues Brothers (1980)
I hear many people say that there is no such thing as an American culture. Clearly those people have not seen this movie. It just literally is one of the most American things I can think of. I absolutely love this one.

Cloverfield (2008)
Broke all the rules of filmography ever written, and for that I love it. That and after seeing so many of those silly Godzilla movies where they have to explain its backstory, it was nice to see a monster movie that left the viewer in the dark throughout the entire experience.
